Atty. De Guzman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Management Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University and his Juris Doctor from the Arellano University School of Law. 

He began his legal career in private practice, handling civil, criminal, and labor litigation, before joining the Public Attorney’s Office, where he served as trial lawyer and later as appellate counsel. He has represented clients before the Court of Appeals, Supreme Court, Office of the President, and various quasi-judicial bodies.

Atty. De Guzman specializes in criminal, civil, labor, and administrative litigation at both the trial and appellate levels and co-heads the Firm’s Litigation Group.
