Katherine Therese Gruba, JD, ME
Atty. Gruba earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications Technology Management from Ateneo de Manila University and her Juris Doctor from the Ateneo de Manila Law School, where she founded the Joaquin Bernas Center Student Volunteer Corps and served as its Deputy Overall Student Head from 2010 to 2013. She later completed her Master in Entrepreneurship at the Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business.
Her practice focuses on corporate, taxation, real estate, and intellectual property law. She advises clients on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and developments, as well as estate and family wealth planning matters involving business succession. She serves as legal advisor to various business organizations and associations.
Atty. Gruba has experience handling matters before the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), among others, and has been involved in Public-Private Partnership projects and developments.
She represents and serves as corporate secretary to local and multinational companies across the real estate, retail and distribution, manufacturing, petroleum, agriculture, and financing sectors. She has also advised on cross-border debt transactions and handled applications and registrations before the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
Atty. Gruba currently heads the Firm’s Real Estate, Corporate, and Tax Groups.
